The Nigeria Police Force has responded to a disturbing video showing a mother feeding her infant daughter alcohol to help her sleep.
In the footage, the woman is seen holding a sachet of alcohol, which she opens and gives to the child.
The police, via X, condemned the act as both dangerous and illegal, urging the public to assist with information that could lead to the woman’s arrest.
“They can reach out to us on 09169967000. The child’s safety is our priority,” the police stated.
