Cargo Truck Catches Fire in Zomba After Fuel Leak

Information reaching this publication indicates that a Bakhresa Malawi Limited cargo truck caught fire in Zomba town while returning from Limbe after offloading cargo.
According to the truck driver, the fire started due to a fuel leak from the rear axle.
The Zomba Fire Brigade quickly rushed to the scene and worked to extinguish the flames, which were still burning upon their arrival.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
