Two men arrested for murder in Mzimba

Police at Jenda have arrested two men, Innocent Maseko 30 and Precious Phiri 20, in connection with the death of Tadeo Mwale 39, who was assaulted to death in the district.
A report was made that Mwale was assaulted by unknown criminals during the night of August 01–02, 2025, at a drinking spree.
Following the incident, the two suspects had been on the run for a month.
On August 30, 2025 Jenda Police through an intelligence driven operation, successfully apprehended the suspects at Kamatawo within Jenda.
Both suspects hails from Kapichira Village, Traditional Authority Kaperula, Kasungu district.
The two are expected to appear in court soon to answer a charges of murder.
