TikTok star found de@d with husband and kids in truck amid ‘cartel murd£r’ fears

A popular TikTok star and her family were found murdered inside a pickup truck in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Esmeralda Ferrer Garibay, 32, was discovered dead alongside her husband, Roberto Carlos Gil Licea, 36.

Their two children, 13-year-old Gael Santiago and 7-year-old Regina, were also found deceased in the vehicle.

The grisly discovery was made on Friday, August 22, when police located the abandoned grey Ford Ranger.

Authorities only confirmed the identities of the victims on Wednesday, August 28.

The family had recently relocated to the Guadalajara metropolitan area in search of better work opportunities.

Roberto was reportedly involved in vehicle trading and tomato farming in the neighboring state of Michoacán.
