Mob Kills Man Suspected of Attempted Soche Manje

A 36-year-old man has been killed by an angry mob in Ndongolo, Group Buleya, under TA Kapeni in Soche, Manje, after being suspected of attempting to break into a house.

The deceased, identified as Madalitso Mtutire from Matalala Village, Group Jumbe, TA Somba in Soche, met his fate in the early hours of Friday, September 5, 2025.

According to Chief Matalala, Mtutire was a respectful man, and the chief expressed shock over the incident, saying he never expected him to be suspected of theft.

At the time of reporting, police officers were yet to arrive at the scene to collect the body.
