The People’s Voice Party (PVP) has urged the newly elected Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) government, led by President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, to launch a fresh investigation into the plane crash that claimed the life of former Vice President Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima and eight others.

PVP president Lawrence Mkuzi Banda said his party fully supports the earlier demand made by the United Transformation Movement (UTM) for a new inquiry into the tragedy.

Banda emphasized that Malawians deserve to know the full truth about what caused the fatal accident, stressing that a transparent investigation will help bring closure to the grieving nation
