Ngwangwa Bus Catches Fire in Chikwawa Mountains

A Ngwangwa bus, traveling from Fatima in Nsanje to Blantyre, caught fire along Thabwa Road near Dulansanje in the Chikwawa mountains.
Eyewitness Christina Jeremiah said, the incident occurred just minutes before 12 noon while the bus was leaving Blantyre. She said that all passengers had already disembarked, but the bus’s cargo caught fire and was destroyed.
No official statement has been released by the police so far.
A video of the incident has been captured and shared on a local social media page.
