Man Dies After Mango Tree Branch Falls on Him in Mulanje

A 31-year-old man in Mulanje has died after a mango tree branch fell on him while he was cutting it.
Mulanje Police Public Relations Officer Hawa Juma identified the deceased as Davison Jailosi, from Ndaonesa Village in the area of Traditional Authority Njema.

According to Juma, Jailosi, a skilled tree cutter, had gone with a friend to cut down a mango tree when a branch unexpectedly fell and struck him on the head.

He was rushed to hospital, where medical personnel confirmed that he died from massive blood loss resulting from severe head injuries.
