Court Grants Bail to Vitumbiko Mumba and Jessie Kabwila

he Senior Resident Magistrate’s Court in Lilongwe has granted bail to Vitumbiko Mumba and Malawi Congress Party (MCP) spokesperson Jessie Kabwila, who are facing charges of spreading false news likely to cause public confusion.
The court ordered the two to pay a bail bond of K1 million each and to report to the police once every fortnight.
The case is scheduled to return to court on January 28 next year.
