Bushiri Praises DPP Government for Transparency and Ministerial Conduct

Malawi renowned prophet Shepherd Bushiri has praised the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) government for what he describes as transparency and positive conduct in the appointment and performance of its ministers.
Writing on his official Facebook page, Bushiri—popularly known as “Major One”, said the new DPP leadership is showing signs of seriousness, accountability and openness in governance.
“I rarely comment on political matters, but it is important to acknowledge positive developments when they appear,” Bushiri wrote.
“The new DPP leadership, particularly in the appointment and conduct of its ministers, shows encouraging signs of seriousness and accountability. There is visible activity, regular communication, and a willingness to update the public on progress.”
The Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) – The Jesus Nation leader added that if the current approach is sustained, it could mark a meaningful shift in how the country is governed.If sustained, this culture of transparency could mark a meaningful shift in governance. I hope it won’t change,” he said.
Bushiri’s comments come at a time when the DPP administration continues to face close public scrutiny over governance, service delivery and leadership style.
