Three Men to Appear in Court Over Killing of Suspected Motorcycle Thief

Police in Phalombe have arrested three men for allegedly killing a 23-year-old man whom they accused of stealing a motorcycle.
According to Jimmy Kapanga, Public Relations Officer for Phalombe Police Station, the victim was suspected to be a habitual criminal and was allegedly caught stealing a motorcycle.
In a statement, Kapanga said the trio are in custody and will soon appear in court to answer the charges.
Meanwhile, police are urging members of the public to refrain from taking the law into their own hands, warning that those involved in mob justice will face legal consequences.
The suspects have been identified as Erick Samvala, Chikondi Damiano, and Glaston Katandika, all from Mulanje District.
