Malawian amapiano star Zeze Kingston has removed his newly released song with Zambian singer Yo Maps, titled “Ndilira Mumvula,” just minutes after its premiere on YouTube, leaving fans confused and speculating about what may have gone wrong.

The highly anticipated collaboration had already attracted significant attention from music lovers in Malawi and Zambia following announcements that the song was officially out on YouTube.

However, fans who rushed to watch the video shortly after its release were left surprised when the song suddenly disappeared from the channel. Instead, the channel only displayed a message reading: “This video has been removed by the uploader.”

Reports indicate that the track had already started gaining traction online, amassing over 3,000 views within just 11 minutes of being published.

So far, neither Zeze Kingston nor Yo Maps has issued a statement explaining why the video was taken down, leaving fans speculating about possible technical issues or disagreements surrounding the release.

Some listeners who managed to watch the song before it was removed claimed that the audio was playing in mono instead of stereo, suggesting the takedown might have been due to a sound quality problem.

Fans from both countries are now eagerly waiting for an official explanation and the possible re-release of the track.
