Michael Carrick Signs New Manchester United Contract Until 2028

Manchester United F.C. have confirmed that head coach Michael Carrick will remain in charge of the men’s first team after signing a new contract running until 2028.
Carrick, who returned to the club in January, has reportedly guided United to 11 wins in 16 league matches, securing qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League.
The club praised his early impact, including a Premier League Manager of the Month award following victories over Manchester City F.C. and Arsenal F.C..
Manchester United highlighted the strong team culture Carrick has built since taking charge, as well as the improved performances across the squad.
The club also emphasized its global reach, pointing to its history of 69 major trophies and a worldwide fanbase estimated at over 1.1 billion supporters.
