Two Nabbed in Ntchisi for Allegedly Detaining and Beating 53-Year-Old Man

Ntchisi Police have arrested two men, Chikumbutso Kachinaka, 31, and Tobias Kudowa, 36, for allegedly abducting and assaulting a 53-year-old man, Lloyd Banda.
According to Ntchisi Police Publicist Sub-Inspector Salomy Zgambo, the incident occurred between June 7 and 8, 2026, at Ng’ondora Village in Ntchisi.
Banda was allegedly beaten, locked in a toilet overnight, and later tied up and kept in a goat kraal.
Police rescued him after receiving a tip-off and found him with multiple injuries, he is currently receiving treatment at Ntchisi District Hospital and is reported to be in fair condition.
