A brewing industry dispute has emerged in the local urban music scene after TrapRelatedActivities Management formally blocked the release of an upcoming single by former Brain Lock member Boi Sticx, which features trending trap artist Ca$ino and Tron.
The friction began a few days ago when Boi Sticx took to social media to announce that the highly anticipated song, titled Pweteketsa Re Up, would be included in his upcoming project, The Dopamine Effect Deluxe, scheduled to drop this week. He urged fans to be patient, stating that he had been receiving numerous inquiries regarding the track.
However, the announcement quickly drew a sharp response from the management of the Top Shella hitmaker, Ca$ino. In an official statement dated 08 June 2026, TrapRelatedActivities Management declared that the track is unauthorized for public consumption at this time.
According to the management team, the song was recorded during a period when Ca$ino was operating as an independent artist. The label has directed that the song must not be released, distributed, streamed, or broadcast on any radio stations or social media platforms until further notice, pending a formal review of the recording and release agreements. They warned that failure to comply could result in legal action to protect the artist’s interests.
In a swift counter statement, Boi Sticx defended his right to the project, clarifying that Pweteketsa was originally conceived, written, and recorded as his own solo record, with snippets already teased on TikTok before any collaboration took place. He stated that Ca$ino later requested to join the track, an arrangement Boi Sticx accommodated in good faith by personally funding and organizing the studio sessions.
Boi Sticx expressed disappointment over the sudden block, noting that revenue splits and release plans had previously been agreed upon. He stated that if the collaboration remains restricted, TrapRelatedActivities must reimburse him for all studio costs, project administration, and financial resources invested in the session.
Despite the standoff, Boi Sticx indicated he remains open to a professional meeting with the management team to resolve the matter amicably.
