22 Year Old Man Arrested Over Theft of Plasma Screens and Mobile Phone in Mwanza

Police in Mwanza have apprehended a 22 year old man, Yohane Dafuleni, for allegedly stealing two plasma television screens and a mobile phone from a truck.
Mwanza Police Station Spokesperson Hope Kasakula confirmed the arrest, explaining that the suspect was tracked down following a report lodged by a truck driver identified as Anthony Samuel. The driver reported to the police that his vehicle had been broken into and tampered with, resulting in the theft of the two plasma screens and his cell phone.
Upon receiving the complaint, Mwanza law enforcement launched an immediate investigation into the incident. The operation proved successful, leading to the arrest of Dafuleni and the recovery of all the stolen electronics.
The suspect, Yohane Dafuleni, comes from Liwonde Village under Traditional Authority Kanduku in Mwanza District. Police have indicated that he will appear before the court soon to formally face charges of theft.
