At Least Eight Killed in Dedza Road Crash

Police in Dedza have confirmed that at least eight people have died following a head-on collision involving a truck and a minibus in the district.
According to Dedza Police Public Relations Officer Sergeant Beatrice Jefita, the accident happened after the truck attempted to overtake a van before crashing into an oncoming minibus.
Several other people sustained injuries in the crash and are receiving medical attention.
Police say investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing, with more information expected as authorities verify the circumstances surrounding the incident.
