President Professor Author Peter Mutharika has sacked Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA), Commissioner General John Biswick and his deputy Crispin Kulemeka.

The two have since been replaced by Ralph Kamoto and Rose Mbizi.

Bizwick, who had replaced now High Court judge Lloyd Muhara at the helm of former President Joyce Banda in 2012, circulated an email to senior staff on Wednesday and management calling for a meeting to bid farewell.

Meanwhile reasons for their dismissal are not yet known as no one from government side was available for comment.
