September is one jam packed month filled with festivities across the continent. Pan-African lineups left right and centre and I love that. So, all you party lovers ready to celebrate spring in style, the festivals keep coming and the latest is the Lake of Stars Malawi Arts Festival set for 26-28 September 2014. The event is held on the shores of Lake Malawi.

This year’s headlining act is none other than South African Afro-pop duo Mafikizolo and the rest of the lineup featuring Reason, Zone Fam, Peter Mawanga, Piksy, Skeffa Chimoto, Mafilika, Sally Nyundo, as well as Body, Mind and Soul.
The festival promotes Malawian arts and tourism through international interaction and exposure. With various festivals on the shores of Lake Malawi and and run events in Europe and across Africa, featuring Malawian artists as well as musicians from across the continent.
