Malawi Congress Party (MCP) lawmaker Juliana Mdavetsa Lunguzi had the shock of her life when her own guard turned upon her to rob her off money.
Information that FaceofMalawi has indicates that Lunguzi left money in her car yesterday night and she forgot to lock the car.
Apparently, her guard noticed that the car was not locked and when he tried the doors he managed to get into the car and dipped his hands into the glove box where he had found an undisclosed amount of money.
He made himself the owner of the money and left his workplace before his boss, the MP, could check on him.
In the morning, however, it was discovered that the money had gone missing and when a search was mounted, about 60% of the money was found at the guard’s house.
The guard has since been arrested by the police.
