President Professor Peter Mutharika is on Sunday expected to hold a thanks-giving rally at Masintha Ground in Lilongwe.
Presidential Press secretary Fredrick Ndala confirmed of the development.
In his speech, Ndala said the rally has been organized to give Mutharika a chance to thank Malawians for ushering him and the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) into power.
During the rally, mutharika will also unveil and articulate his government’s development and vision for the country.
The rally comes barely a week after another rally that President Mutharika held in Blantyre at Njamba Freedom Park.
