It was a whirlwind courtship for hip-hop star Bow Wow and Love & Hip-Hop’s Erica Mena and now the two are engaged to be married.
Bow Wow, whose real name is Shad Moss, posted a photo to his Instagram account of the diamond-encrusted ring he presented to his girlfriend of six months.
The 27-year-old also seized the moment to show off some bling of his own.
The Instagram photo shows Erica’s manicured fingers next to Bow Wow’s tattooed forearm and wrist. On Erica’s finger is the engagement ring; on Bow Wow’s wrist – a pricey Rolex.
Word of the engagement broke over the weekend. While walking a red carpet at the BET Awards in Atlanta Saturday, Mena was asked if the two were an official couple.
She responded to a reporter from E! News: ‘Uhh..he’s actually my fiancé.’

According to reports, the couple first met when Mena stopped by 106 & Park where Bow Wow serves as a host.
After sharing a kiss on the famous couch, the couple then began a more serious relationship.
A new season of Mena’s racy show, Love & Hip Hop, is scheduled to premiere in November.
