Recommendations from the Malawi Ministry of Education,Science and Technology

Patrick Magombo, the Director of Emmanuel Schools, has been meeting with government education officials.   He has been advised NOT to open the school until all the buildings are completed and the necessary supplies are on hand.   This advice is given after the government has had to close a number of private independent schools that have failed to meet the most basic of educational standards required by the Malawi government.

The tentative date for school opening is SEPTEMBER 2012 – the new school year.   The government has informed Patrick Magombo that it would be best to begin the school, at the beginning of a school year, with a full compliment of students in all forms (grades).
