A Malawian pregnant woman identified as Esnart Chirwa and a man identified as Julius Zgambo, 91 have died in a road accident in Nkhatabay as the minibus they were travelling in with other passengers collided with another over the weekend.
Information at hand indicates that the tragedy happened near Tukombo private secondary school in the district.
There were about 16 people on board and some have since been referred to Nkhotakota district hospital for treatment.
Nkhatabay police publicist Egnecious Esau has confirmed the incident to the media.
The minibus registration number is MZ 3181; confirmed Esau.
