Death has been announced of a well-known musician Andrew Matrauza of ‘Musadabwe’ hit which took the music industry by storm.
Matrauza died this morning at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) in the commercial capital Blantyre after a long illness.
Confirming the development, Joseph Tembo who produced Matrauza’s Musadabwe Album expressed shock.
On his part, Musicians Union of Malawi (MUM) president Reverend Chimwemwe Mhango has described Matrauza’s death as a big loss to the music industry in the country.

Meanwhile details of the burial ceremony are still sketchy.
