ANGRY MOB SET ABLAZE SUSPECTED THIEF IN LL

A 20-year-old man was burnt to ashes on Tuesday in the capital Lilongwe by an angry mob for allegedly being suspected to have stolen MK45, 000.

Central Region Police Spokesperson confirmed of the development in an interview and identified the suspect as Yusuf Mwamandi.

According to the Police, the deceased was suspected to have stolen a blanket, cellphone and money amounting to MK45,000.

The Police said the suspect has on several times been involved in a series of robberies in the capital but could easily escape Police arrest.

The development forced the angry mob to take the law into their own hands by burning to ashes the suspect.

Meanwhile no one has been arrested in connection to the incident.
