STRANGE DISEASE FORCES ST. LAWRENCE GIRLS SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS TO LEAVE THE CAMPUS

There was commotion at St. Lawrence Girls Secondary School in the Southern District of Chikwawa on Sunday as students went on the street to protest over strange diseases that has hit the school, accusing the management of not acting on the disease.

After the demonstrations the students parked their belongings and left the campus.

According to one of the students who confided to the press said, the disease mostly attacks the legs.

The head teacher expressed ignorance on the matter.

However Chikwawa Diocese secretary Father Alufeyo Boloma confirmed of the development in an interview with one of the privately owned radio [Zodiak Broadcasting Station].

Boloma said the Church is currently engaged in prayers for the disease
.
Meanwhile the school been indefinitely closed as all students have left the campus.
