ANGRY MOB KILLS SUSPECTED THIEF IN DEDZA: POLICE UNIT DEMOLISHED

Angry mob on Tuesday morning took the law into their own hands by beating to death a suspected thief arrested by the police in Dedza.

According to information at hand, the angry mob invaded Kabwazi Police unit at around 5am asking for the blood of the suspected thief identified as Lenis Mbiri Thomas who was being kept at the Police unit but the police refused to do so.

The development forced the angry villagers to use force to overpower the police officers and in the process they damage a police unit.

According to an eyewitness, the villagers managed to get hold of the suspected thief administered mob justice on him.

Police officers on duty tried to scare the irate villagers by firing in the air but this did not yield anything.

Meanwhile angry mob in Chinyonga Township in Blantyre torched to death two suspected thief on Monday.
