Zodiak TV personality wins Airtel Trace Music Competition: Pockets MK10 million

Zodiak TV personality Ruth Kulaisi has been crowned winner of this year’s Airtel Trace Music Competition beating other four contestants to pocket money amounting to MK10 million.

The competition was held last night at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) Umodzi Park in the capital Lilongwe.

The development means that Kulaisi will represent Malawi at the Pan African contest to be held in Nigeria.

The competition looked so tight as all contestants namely Ruth Kulaisi, Madalitso Faziri, Triza Chatata, Kalista Kalele and Chisomo Chichi Nteteka did their homework well but Judges settled for Kulaisi.

Apart from Kulaisi, two other contestants who came out as first and second runners up pocketed MK3 million and MK2 million respectively.

The event was spiced up by live performance from Kenyan DJ Joe Mfaime.
