Deputy Ambassador to Ethiopia arrested

Police in Lilongwe have arrested the suspended Deputy Ambassador to Ethiopia, Doreen Kapanga, in connection with K293 million theft at the Embassy.
Before her appointment to Ethiopia, Kapanga was a Deputy Inspector General of Police.
Deputy National Police spokesperson Thomeck Nyaude confirmed of the arrest in an interview with the press, saying details of the arrest will be revealed today.
