Pastor robbed MK12 million at gunpoint in Nsanje

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that a pastor in the Southern District of Nsanje has been robbed MK12 million at gunpoint by unknown thugs.

It is said that the armed thugs trickled the Pastor Mr.Ngulube who is also a well-known businessman in the district by offering him precious stones.

“After seeing the said stones, the Pastor went into his car to collect the cash without known that the thugs were following him. While there one of the thugs produced a gun and demanded cash from the pastor,” said an eyewitness.

According to the source, the pastor complied with the order and handed the cash to the said thieves.

The thieves then escaped from the scene using a Toyata Double cabin but the car overturned few kilometers from the scenes.

The armed thugs then abandoned the vehicle by using another vehicle.

Meanwhile police from Nsanje have recovered passport photos of Mozambican immigrations officers from the vehicle, according to the source.
