Unconfirmed reports reaching faceofmalawi indicates that Times Televison talk show ‘Hot Current’ host Brian Banda has been suspended for incompetence.
According to, Dan Mughogho of as it happens, Times Group has also given a warning letter to Editor-in-Chief George Kasakula for the same reasons.
The two recently were summoned twice by the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (Macra) over the hot current programme aired every Friday on Times Tv.
In the programme, the two discusses matters affecting the nation by among other things critising the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).
But many people have described the programme as political aimed at tarnishing President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika’s reign.
