Former Minister of Information Malison Ndau denies dumping DPP for MCP

Former Minister of Information and Communications Technology Malison Ndau who is also Member of Parliament for Ntcheu Central Constituency has denied rumours hovering on the social media that he has joined the Malawi Congress Party (MCP).

On Saturday, Ndau’s personal aide joined the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) at rally held at Balaka Primary School ground organized by the party President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.

The defection of Ndau’s personal aide to MCP attracted speculations that the whole DPP’s committee in Ntcheu together with Reverend Ndau has joined the MCP.

Meanwhile DPP officials in Ntcheu have quashed the rumours in an interview with Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS).

According to the officials, Ndau is still a DPP member of parliament.
