Police in Ntchisi District have apprehended five suspects namely; Kanthiti Kantandala 34, Zebron Kamanga 22, Eflone Junior Chirwa 24, Phillip Phiri 26 and Patrick Makwale 28.
According to the police the five are suspected of stealing different produces from their employer.
The suspects were employed by Mulli Brothers Company as farm produce buyers and were deployed in different markets in Ntchisi District.
The issue was known after the Field Supervisor Saidi Jussa conducted stock taking.
The police have charged the suspects with theft by servant and they are expected to appear in court soon.
