WOMAN ARRESTED FOR ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF FUEL

A-28 year old woman is in police custody in Lilongwe for illegal possession of fuel to 180 Litres in her house without proper documents.

Lilongwe Police Public Relations Officer Sub Inspector Kingsley Dandaula confirmed of the development and identified the suspect as Esnart Mwadwala.

“We got a tip from her customers and when we went to her house we found 180 litres of diesel belonging to Motor Engel,” said Dandaula.

He added that when police officers discovered the diesel they informed Motor Engel officials who identified the diesel belonging to them.

According to Dandaula, the suspect will appear in Court soon to answer charges of illegal possession of fuel.

Mwadwala hails from from Kamenyagwaza Village, Traditional Authority (T/A) Kamenyagwaza in Kasungu.
