A 33 year old man Brave Shaba has been arrested for allegedly killing a friend at Madungu bar in Nkhatabay district.
According to Nkatabay police spokesperson Ignatius Esau, the incident happened on Friday evening following the deceased refusal to buy beer for Shaba
Police have identified the deceased as Justin Phiri of Walifi village, ta Mkanda in Mulanje district
Postmortem results from Nkhatabay district hospital reviewed that the deceased died due to internal head injuries.
Shaba’s case has been committed to high court for hearing.
The suspect hails from kanjiso village, Tradition Authority (TA) Mthwalo Mzimba district.
