Kalindo rejoins DPP

Member of Parliament for Mulanje South Constituency Bon Kalindo has rejoined rejoined the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) almost a year after he was fired.

Kalindo was welcomed in the Party on Sunday by Southern region governor Charles Mchacha at a rally held at Lauderdale school ground.

DPP fired Kalindo last year after holding demonstrations to force President Professor Arthur Peter to implement death penalty on albino killers.

The development did not please some Party officials hence his firing.

Welcoming Kalindo, Mchacha said Kalindo’s return signifies that he loves the DPP.

Meanwhile Kalindo has vowed to strengthen the Party.
