Beehive applauds government on Trade Fair

Beehive Marketing Manager Yankho Kamera has thanked the government for holding international Trade Fair saying it helps the companies and Organizations to showcase their products.

He said Trade Fair is more important and is beneficial to business people because companies exhibit their goods, items and products to their customers apart from interacting with fellow business people.

Yankho Kamera was speaking in an interview during this year’s 29 Trade fair at Chichiri conference Centre in commercial city –Blantyre under the theme: Productivity: A source of Export competitiveness.

‘“This is our third time to showcase our products at Trade fair: There is no much different than previous ones. We showcase our books, Equipment’s for hire such equipment’s include plasma screen, construction equipment’s, IT school books just to mention but a few,” he said.

Kamera said Beehive do charity work hence selling books, bikes, and hiring of equipment’s to support the initiative in communities.

“We help the communities by taking care of kids and provide jobs to all Malawians he said”, adding that the organization was started in 2007.

He therefore encouraged all Malawians to buy their products to enable for them to assist the needy in rural communities.

Some of the Beehive branches are Bee books, Bee bikes, John Paul second leadership and IT Institute, Torrent plant and Vehicle .They sells kids bikes at K17, 450, Mountain bikes at K58,000, adult books at K1,000 while kids’ books are at K500.

During the opening of this year’s Trade fair President Peter Mutharika urged Malawians to buy local products to support home industry.

Some of the companies and Organisations at the Fair include Bantu Art and Craft Limited, Airtel, ADMARC, MOSANTO, SADM, pharmaceuticals, Kenya, Tanzania and India.
