Police officer beaten after failing to settle a bill of K2750

A police officer is in pain after being beaten by bottle store owner in the capital Lilongwe for failing to settle a beer bill.

The police officer has been identified as Constable Noel from one of police stations in the capital Lilongwe.

According to an eyewitness, the incident happened at Number 1 bottle store in Lilongwe.

It is said that the police officer owed the bottle store owner bear bill amounting to MK2750.
