Chawezi Sibongile Banda also Known as ‘Chacha’ a daughter of former Finance Minister, Aleke Banda has complimented her father for teaching her the spirit of generosity as she donated blankets at an orphanage in Utale, Balaka.
Chacha who is based in United States of America (USA) and own Chacha Care home made the donation on the week she was celebrating her 44th birthday in March.
She said each and every year when celebrating her birthday, she share something to the under privileged.
“Each and every year when I am celebrating my birthday, also share something good to the disadvantaged,” she said.
She further added that out of all the requests she received, she chose Utale as the orphanage lacks blankets.
“This year out of many requests I received from people I picked Utale in Balaka where orphans needed blankets,” she said.
Chacha is well known with her posh life-style, but she says that is not enough to be happy she always give a helping hand to the disadvantaged.
