Manondo to enter plea bargain, to be used as state witness number 1

Reports indicate that Pika Manondo, an accomplice of disgraced lawyer and embattled former minister of Justice, Ralph Kasambara, is being considered to enter a plea bargain and be used as state witness number 1 against Kasambara.

The reports, of which FaceofMalawi is to independently verify, indicates that government is considering negotiating with Manondo to plead guilty and in the end implicate the PP director of legal affairs, Ralph Kasambara, in the shooting of Director of Budget in the Ministry of Finance, Paul Mpwhiyo.

The plea bargain that Manondo will take will see him earning a lighter sentence than usual and in turn sacrificing his friend, Ralph Kasambara who has been described as the godfather in this mafia of underground movements of siphoning money out of government coffers and attempting to murder people to conceal evidence.
