Johannesburg – A Malawian man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a man to death in Phokeng, Rustenburg police said on Sunday.
Colonel Emelda Setlhako said the 23-year-old man was arrested on Saturday.
A 46-year-old man was fighting with his girlfriend when the other man tried to separate them, she said.
Sehlako said the older man was stabbed with a sharp instrument and died later in hospital.
His assailant would appear in the Bafokeng Magistrate’s Court on Monday. – Sapa
