“Stop using the name Fikisa,” Nyimbo music company warns Fikisa.

The group that took the nation by storm with their hit, Akamwire, has been told to stop using the name Fikisa by their ex-music label, Nyimbo Music Company.

Reports indicate that Nyimbo Music Company has threatened legal action against the group if they decide to continue using the name. However, the group has remained adamant claiming they signed a deal with Nyimo while plying under the same name of Fikisa and it is outrageous for anybody to stop them from using the name just now.

Fikisa appeared on the scene with their hit Akamwire and captured the hearts of many. However, months in the bliss of the limelight, wrangles started over themselves and later escalated as they got into conflict with their promoters then, Nyimbo mUsic Company, whom they have so far divorced themselves from.
