Police hikes bounty on Njauju gruesome murder to MK2 million

As Malawians are eagerly waiting for the truth to come out in the gruesome murder of former Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director of Corporate Service Issa Njauju, Police have hike bounty to be given to anyone who will feed them with information on the incident.

According to information sourced by FaceofMalawi, the bounty has been hike from MK1.5 million to MK2 million.

National Police Spokesperson Nicholas Gondwa confirmed of the development in an interview with one of the local media house in the country.

“We are urging those that have information concerning the murders of the former Anti-corruption Bureau director of corporate services to come forward,’ said Gondwa.

So far Police have arrested two people in connection to the gruesome murder of NJauju.

Njauju’s body was found abandoned in Lilongwe around July 5 close to Presidential Villa riddled with gun bullets while his official vehicle was set on fire and abandoned within the city.

Civil Society Organization (CSOs), donors and some concerned citizens in the country have heavy criticized President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika’s administration for not showing any commitment to track down the culprits.
