Well-known comedian Eric Mabedi, popularly known as Jakobo is set to leave the country for India on October 28, 2018 where is scheduled to undergo a Kidney transplant.
The trip will cost government money amounting to MK20 million.
Spokesperson for friends of Eric Mabedi, Higger Mkandawire confirmed of the trip in an interview with faceofmalawi reporter.
According to Makandawire, government has finalized processing all travelling documents for Mabedi and he will leave the country on October 28.
Mkandawire applauded the government through the Ministry of Health and Population for the kind gesture shown to Mabedi.
