Chilima spits fire at Mutharika for failing to end political violence

State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima who is also leader of United Transformation Movement (UTM) has hit back at President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika for failing to end the political violence in the country despite preaching peace on different podiums.

Chilima said this on Wednesday morning during a media briefing held at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in the capital Lilongwe.

In his speech, Chilima who looked so angry said Malawi is for all not few individuals from the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) especially those surrounding President Mutharika.

Chilima said the police is there to protect Malawians not protect thieves surrounding President Mutharika who are siphoning public moneys.

He said some tried in one party system to threaten Malawians who were fighting for Multiparty but they failed to do so.

Chilima has since asked Mutharika to act without any excuse and allow law enforcers to protect all Malawians.
