Mutharika urges Malawians to vote for Development: ‘I am not a Politician’

President Peter Mutharika has described May 21 elections as a turning point which will determine the country’s future, whether Malawians will choose development or politics.

Mutharika said this in Lilongwe during a whistle stop tour as thousands of people welcomed him from his South visit where he went to sympathize with flood victims.

He therefore challenged Malawians that he is the only way to massive developments and that if Malawians want the country’s development to continue he is the right candidate.

He further added that he is not a politician and he does not care about politics therefore Malawians should vote for development which is his main agenda.

“I am not a politician, I do not even care about politics, my agenda is to develop the nation and for continuity of developmental projects by my government,” he said.

Mutharika further said that his government continued the developments that were left by his late brother professor Bingu Wa Mutharika and others that his government implemented.

Mutharika therefore urged Malawians to vote for him on May 21 for continuation of massive developments.
