Elections Case Update: MCP Witness Claims Their Signatures were Forged

Malawi Congress Party (MCP) witness Peter Lackson Chimangeni yesterday told the court hearing the historic presidential elections case in Lilongwe that most of signatures by MCP monitors were forged.

Chimangeni made the claim as the Attorney General Kalekeni Kaphale was cross examining him.

The constitutional court sitting in Lilongwe is this morning expected to proceed with the cross-examination of MCP witness Peter Lackson Chimangeni.

Chimangeni will continue to be questioned by Attorney General Kalekeni Kaphale who discloses that has a few queries before wrapping up.
