ACB Presser; Matemba Stresses ‘Complaint is for Individuals not Political Party’

Director General for the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Reyneck Matemba has insisted that the complaint before the bureau is against individuals and not any political party.

Matemba said this at Lilongwe, ACB conference room where the presser is currently underway.

In his argument Matemba said they cannot prosecute a political party or arrest a political party citing that someone withing the party has to take responsibility.

Matemba continued that the case at hand is a criminal investigation and not a political investigation.

He he has however maintained his stand that he will not be swayed but anybody to mention the names of the suspects as a matter of law.
