Police in Phalombe have arrested a 30- year – old primary school teacher on suspicion that he defiled a -14 – year old learner.
Phalombe Police Publicist, Innocent Moses has confirmed the development in an interview with Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS) and the suspect has been identified as Felix Amos.
Moses said the victim met her fate when the suspect offered her a lift on a motorcycle as they were heading the same direction.
“Instead of dropping the learner where she was going, the teacher went straight to his friend’s house where he defiled her,” said Moses
After defiling her,the suspect gave the girl K1,800,but she narrated her ordeal to her father who later reported to police.
